Nvidia Launches New AI Chip for Laptops and PCs as It Pushes Agentic Computing

Nvidia has introduced a new PC chip called RTX Spark, designed for Microsoft Windows laptops and desktop computers. The company says the chip will help power AI agents that can do tasks normally handled with a mouse and keyboard.
CEO Jensen Huang announced the chip at the Computex trade show in Taipei. Nvidia said the first systems using the new chip will come from PC makers including Dell and Lenovo, with HP also named as a manufacturing partner in the launch of AI-focused laptops.
The company also highlighted its broader AI roadmap at recent events, including the Vera Rubin AI computing platform and the Vera CPU. Nvidia said Vera Rubin is entering full production and is aimed at supporting agentic AI, AI factories, data center systems, enterprise software tools, personal computers, and robotics.
In its presentation, Nvidia described the new PC direction as part of a move toward “agentic computing,” where AI systems can take on more direct work for users. The company also said its latest systems are being built for large-scale AI deployments across labs, cloud providers, and hyperscalers.
