The company is headquartered in South San Francisco, California and currently employs 43 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2020-07-17. The company is developing a checkpoint inhibitor designed to have an affinity for CD47 and to avoid the limitations caused by hematologic toxicities inherent in other CD47 blocking approaches. Its lead product candidate, evorpacept, is a CD47 blocking biologic in development as a combination therapy with other anti-cancer agents for treatment of various oncology indications, including myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC), gastric and breast cancer. Its preclinical program is focused on developing ALTA-002, which combines its signal regulatory protein alpha (SIRPa) and toll-like receptor 9 agonist antibody conjugate (TRAAC).

What is Insider Trading?

Insider trading refers to the buying or selling of a company’s stock by individuals with access to non-public, material information about the company.

While legal insider trading occurs when insiders follow disclosure rules, illegal insider trading involves trading based on confidential information and is prohibited by law.

Why is Insider Trading Important?

It isn't a coincidence that corporate executives seem to always buy at the right times. After all, they have access to every bit of company information you could ever want.

However, the fact that company executives have unique insights doesn't mean that individual investors are always left in the dark. Insider trading data is out there for all who want to use it.

Peter Lynch

Insiders might sell their shares for any number of reasons, but they buy them for only one: they think the price will rise.
