Aura Energy Ltd is a mineral exploration and development company focused mainly on uranium. It looks for deposits, studies them, and works toward turning them into mines that can produce uranium concentrate, the material sold into the nuclear fuel supply chain. The company also has interests in other battery and industrial minerals, but uranium is the core of the story. Its main customers would be nuclear fuel buyers and utilities, although Aura itself is not a producer at scale yet. Like most junior mining companies, it makes money today mainly by raising capital from investors and using that funding to advance its projects through drilling, engineering studies, permitting, and development work. If a project reaches production, revenue would come from selling mined material to downstream buyers. What makes Aura’s business different is that it sits at the early end of the uranium value chain. Instead of mining and processing metal itself, it tries to create value by proving up deposits and moving them toward commercial production. That means the company’s worth depends heavily on geology, project approvals, and the economics of bringing a mine into operation.
