Advance Metals Ltd
Glance View
Advance Metals Ltd is a mineral exploration company. It looks for gold, silver and other metal deposits, then tries to prove up those projects with mapping, drilling and technical studies. At this stage it does not sell metal to end users; it sells the market a chance to back early-stage exploration work and the projects it controls. Its main business customers are investors and, potentially, larger mining companies that may one day partner on a discovery or buy a project outright. Advance Metals makes money by raising capital to fund exploration and by creating value in the ground rather than by running a mine itself. If a project becomes attractive, the company can also earn value through joint ventures, asset sales or other deal structures. What makes the business model different is that it sits at the very start of the mining chain. Instead of producing metals, it spends money on geological risk, with success depending on whether its drill targets turn into economic deposits. That makes the company more of a project generator and explorer than a metals producer.
