Superloop Ltd
Glance View
Superloop Ltd is a telecommunications company that sells internet access and data connectivity. It serves homes, small businesses, larger companies, and other carriers by connecting them to broadband and fibre networks, including networks the company owns and manages itself. Its retail brands sell fixed-line internet plans, while its wholesale side sells network access and backhaul services to other providers. The company makes money mainly from recurring customer subscriptions and service contracts. Retail customers pay monthly for internet plans and related services, while business and wholesale customers pay for dedicated connections, network capacity, and access to Superloop’s infrastructure. That gives the company a mix of consumer-style recurring revenue and longer-term commercial network deals. What makes Superloop different is that it sits between a network owner and a service reseller. It builds and controls parts of the underlying fibre network, then uses that infrastructure to sell directly to end users and to other telcos that need connectivity. That model gives it more control over service quality and network economics than a pure reseller, while keeping it focused on the core job of moving data.
