The firm is a provider of support services for metal mining. The company offers technology platform comprising its flagship GeoCore X10 product, and its visualization and analysis software. Its GeoCore X10 is a transportable scanning device that uses X-ray industrial computed tomography (CT) technology that is used in scanning through the internal structures of mineral cores and samples. The machine also uses multiple X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) instruments and techniques to detect elements on the surface of the core. Both of these technologies are interlaced together by Orexplore’s software, systems and modelling, to build models of the entire core, and report the detected elements. The Orexplore Insight software reconstructs a three-dimensional digital twin of the physical core, allowing the user to interrogate the core at a current standard resolution of 200 microns and at a high resolution.
