Triptolide is derived from the thunder god vine Tripterygium wilfordii, used in traditional Chinese medicines and other over-the-counter supplements. Triptolide affects the reproductive capacity of both male and female rats. VCD is an occupational chemical that selectively destroys ovarian follicles in rats. The firm also continues to research and develop enhancements to ContraPest that align with its target verticals and other potential fertility control options for additional species.
