New Plant Operational: Rishi Laser successfully began operations at its new Malur (Bangalore) plant, with full transition and ramp-up expected by end of November and significant revenue contribution starting Q4 FY '26.
Revenue Growth: Q2 FY '26 revenue was INR 42.9 crores, up 9.8% YoY and 4.65% QoQ, reflecting steady growth despite muted steel prices.
Margin Expansion: EBITDA margin improved from 9.1% to 9.93% YoY due to better product mix and higher value-added orders. Margins are expected to remain sustainable.
Short-term Margin Pressure: Temporary increase in personnel costs and margin pressure expected due to operating both old and new plants during the transition; margins expected to normalize from Q4 FY '26 onward.
Automation & Paint Shop Investment: Heavy investment in robotic automation and a new paint shop (operational Q4 FY '26) is expected to boost efficiency, quality, and open new business opportunities.
Capacity & Ramp-up: At 80% utilization, total revenue potential (all plants) estimated at INR 250 crores; new plant alone targeted to reach INR 100 crores annual revenue in 2–3 years.
Export Growth: Exports hit INR 6 crores in Q2. Management sees major export potential, especially to Europe, and expects significant growth if new customer discussions materialize.
Guidance: FY '26 revenue growth projected at around 10%, with FY '27 targeted for 20% growth and further margin improvement.
