Record Profitability: Alpha Bank reported Q1 normalized profits of $239 million, marking its highest quarterly figure since 2007 and representing an 8% increase year-on-year.
Return on Equity: Normalized return on tangible equity reached 15.4%, reflecting strong operating performance.
Capital Strength: Core equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio remained robust at 16.3%, even after accounting for the full impact of Basel IV.
Guidance Upgraded: 2024 EPS guidance was raised to above $0.45, about 7% higher than previously, with medium-term EPS growth targets set at 8% per annum.
Solid Asset Quality: NPE ratio held stable at 3.8%, and cost of risk was in line with guidance at 53 basis points, with no signs of distress in the loan book.
Fee Income & Growth: Fee income rose 11% year-on-year, and performing loans grew 1% quarter-on-quarter and 13% year-on-year.
