Revenue: Revenue for 1H FY26 rose 2% year‑on‑year to HKD 3,561 million (2% reported; 3.5% excluding last year's one‑off).
Profit: Profit after tax grew 8.4% to HKD 278 million, with EBIT margin steady at 11% and service EBITDA margin at 54%.
Cash & Dividend: Net cash increased 50% to HKD 2,376 million and the interim dividend was maintained at HKD 0.145 per share.
Growth drivers: 5G home broadband revenue rose 12% YoY (EBIT up 36%), postpaid ARPU +1% YoY and 5G ARPU remains 2x 4G, while total customers grew 10% YoY.
Cost & capex discipline: Operating expenses fell 6% and capex declined 3% to HKD 179 million, credited to AI‑enabled efficiencies.
Network & product leadership: Launched SmarTone Priority (network slicing/5G Advanced), expanded MTR and key property indoor coverage, and rolled out AI Connect and Kids Care.
Outlook/strategy: Management emphasised quality over volume growth, selective network and AI investments, and continued focus on 5G home broadband and high‑value customers.
