Aciselsan Acipayam Selüloz Sanayi ve Ticaret AS engages in the production of carboxymethyl cellulose additives for detergent, textile, paint, glue, ceramics, food, medicine, and cosmetic products. Its products are used in various industry segments, such as oil drilling, detergents, textiles, paints, glue, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, as well as ceramic, China, welding rods. Its products, ASEL LV-2 and ASEL HV-7, are used in drilling muds which are flown into the drilling pipes to give suitable flow properties, to carry the drill chippings to the surface, to improve water retention of muds and to prevent excessive penetration of drilling liquids into the surrounding. The use of its product, ASEL TD 6, in detergents improves its cleaning power by acting as an antiredeposition agent which presents the dirt already removed by synthetic detergents from sticking to the fabric during washing. In the textile industry its product, ASEL TN 40, is used for warp sizing of both cotton and synthetic yarns.
