Solid Quarter: Hanmi delivered a strong fourth quarter, with net interest income up and net interest margin expanding, despite lower noninterest income.
Loan Growth: Full-year loan growth reached 5%, hitting guidance, with significant increases in both production and portfolio diversification.
Deposit Stability: Noninterest-bearing deposits made up 30% of total deposits, reflecting a stable customer base, even as total deposits fell slightly in Q4.
Expense Management: Full-year noninterest expense grew 4.6%, attributed mainly to investments in talent, but the efficiency ratio improved to 54.7%.
Asset Quality: Credit quality remained strong, with low levels of nonperforming assets and healthy loss reserves.
