Rougier SA engages in the harvesting, processing and distribution of woods. The company is headquartered in Niort, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and currently employs 3,034 full-time employees. Through its subsidiaries, Rougier SA sells logs, sawn timber and plywood produced in its forest and industrial units in Central Africa (Gabon and Congo, among others) throughout the world. In France, Rougier has two import sales networks: Rougier Sylvaco, a specialist in various forms of tropical wood and Rougier Panneaux, a specialist in plywood panels. Rougier SA has a number of subsidiaries, including Mokabi, SPS International and Rougier Gabon, among others. The firm trades approximately 70 tropical wood species globally in more than 50 countries.
