Blumar SA engages in the provision of manufactured fish meal and fish oil products. The company is headquartered in Las Condes, Santiago and currently employs 3,040 full-time employees. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Pesquera Bahia Caldera SA, Salmones Blumar SA, Golfo Comercial SA, Pesquera Araucania Dos SA and Granja Marina SA, and Grupo Las Urbinas was its major shareholder with 45.31% of its interest.
