The i-body has also demonstrated its usefulness in treating fibrosis of the eye and is being pursued as an additional opportunity for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration (wet-AMD). The i-body is identified to have affinity and specificity with a drug target of interest, its effectiveness is evaluated in cell-based assays (in vitro) and in animal experiments (in vivo).
