Odyssey Gold Ltd. is an oil and gas exploration and production company, which engages in the oil and gas project in Oklahoma; targeting gas and associated oil in the Woodford Shale; and the acquisition of new projects. The company is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The company went IPO on 2005-11-30. The firm is focused on gold projects in the Murchison Goldfields, which includes the Tuckanarra and Stakewell Gold Projects. The Tuckanarra Project area has four open pits, minor gold workings, and prospecting pits principally associated with quartz veins and the mafic and banded iron formations (BIF) units. The gold mineralization at the Stakewell Project is hosted within quartz veins, quartz reef and porphyry. Its accessory minerals include chlorite, hornblende, biotite, epidote, chalcopyrite and haematite. The Gold projects are located on the Great Northern Highway between Cue and Meekatharra with over 30 kilometers of strike of fertile banded iron formation and greenstones, with gold mining. The Company’s subsidiaries include Tuckanarra Resources Pty Ltd and Stakewell Resources Pty Ltd.
