Production: First-half production was 158,000 ounces, but management expects a much stronger second half and maintained full-year guidance of 340,000–390,000 ounces.
MSG turnaround: Production was deliberately sacrificed for underground development, infrastructure and equipment upgrades. Management expects quarter-over-quarter improvement through Q3, Q4 and Q1 2027, with a long-term target near 80,000 ounces and roughly $2,000–$2,200 per ounce in all-in sustaining costs.
Financial results: Q2 revenue was $336 million and adjusted EBITDA was $197 million; last-12-month EBITDA exceeded $800 million for the 12th consecutive quarter of improvement.
Capital returns: Aura announced a $60 million dividend, or $0.72 per share, and a new $200 million share-buyback program. Future shareholder returns will be split between dividends and buybacks.
Costs: All-in sustaining cash costs were close to $2,000 per ounce, but management said they would have been approximately $1,600 excluding MSG’s turnaround. The company maintained its cost guidance despite foreign-exchange, fuel and input-cost pressure.
Growth: Borborema and Almas are being expanded, Era Dorada construction is progressing, and management continues to pursue M&A across gold and copper assets without changing its appetite because of gold-price volatility.
Outlook: Management expects higher production and EBITDA in Q3 and Q4, with further growth in 2027 from MSG, Borborema, Almas and Era Dorada. It acknowledged that MSG could finish near the lower end of its guidance.
