Digi International, Inc. provides business and mission-critical Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products, services and solutions. The company is headquartered in Hopkins, Minnesota and currently employs 659 full-time employees. The firm two businesses include IoT Products & Services and IoT Solutions. Its IoT Products & Services business operates through four segments: Cellular Routers, Console Servers, OEM Solutions and Infrastructure Management. Cellular Routers segment provides fully enclosed box devices, which provides connectivity typically in a place where the device can be plugged in exclusively using cellular communications. Console Servers segment is similar to cellular routers except they are exclusively for edge computing installations and data center applications exclusively using cellular communications. OEM Solutions segment provides Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) solutions. This comes in the form of a stand-alone chip, or from a systems-on-module (SOMs).
