Its lead product candidate, PLN-74809, is an oral small-molecule, dual-selective inhibitor of avß6 and avB1. The Company’s second product candidate, PLN-1474, is a small-molecule, selective inhibitor of avB1 for treatment of liver fibrosis associated with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. In addition to its clinical programs, it is developing additional preclinical integrin-based programs. The first preclinical program is oncology program. Its second preclinical program is an allosteric agonistic monoclonal antibody against an undisclosed integrin receptor being developed for treatment of muscular dystrophies, including duchenne muscular dystrophy.
