Description

TriMas Corp. engages in the manufacture of industrial products for customers in the consumer products, aerospace, industrial, petrochemical, refinery, and oil and gas end markets. The company is headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and currently employs 3,500 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2007-05-18. The firm operates through three segments: Packaging, Aerospace, and Specialty Products. The Packaging segment develops and manufactures an array of dispensing products, polymeric and steel caps and closures, polymeric jar products, and integrated dispensers for fill-ready bag-in-box applications. The Aerospace segment develops, qualifies and manufactures engineered, precision fasteners, tubular products and assemblies for fluid conveyance, and machined products, and assemblies to serve the aerospace and defense market. The Specialty Products segment designs, manufactures and distributes engineered steel cylinders, wellhead engines and compression systems for use within industrial markets. Its brands include Rieke, Affaba & Ferrari, Taplast, Monogram Aerospace Fasteners, Allfast Fastening Systems, Norris Cylinder, and Arrow Engine Company.
