The firm's pipeline is focused on anticancer agents that inhibit critical signaling pathways in cancer that promote cancer cell survival and tumor growth, particularly RAF/MEK inhibition and FAK inhibition. Its advanced product candidates, VS-6766 and defactinib, are being investigated in both preclinical and clinical studies for the treatment of various solid tumors, including, low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), colorectal cancer (CRC), pancreatic cancer, uveal melanoma, and endometrial cancer. VS-6766 is an orally available small molecule RAF/MEK clamp. VS-6766 is a dual RAF/MEK clamp that blocks both MEK kinase activity and the ability of RAF to phosphorylate MEK. Defactinib is an oral small molecule inhibitor of FAK and proline-rich tyrosine kinase (PYK2) that is being evaluated as a potential combination therapy for various solid tumors.
