Growth Initiatives: OGPL commissioned its first 7 MW solar project and has 28 MW of additional greenfield capacity (18 MW solar, 10 MW wind) under construction, all targeting commissioning by May–June '26.
Repowering Milestone: The company is the first to implement the new Tamil Nadu repowering policy, replacing 10 MW of old wind turbines with 6 MW of new turbines, expected to substantially improve yields and EBITDA.
Financial Performance: Q3 total income was INR 40.06 crores and EBITDA was INR 17.07 crores, in line with last year. 9-month net profit rose 54% YoY to INR 88.13 crores, driven by favorable wind, better availability, and lower finance costs.
Debt Update: Total debt stands at INR 507 crores with a blended interest cost of 9.15% post-refinancing; debt-equity ratio is roughly 2:1.
Profitability Outlook: New projects (solar, wind, repowering) are expected to add INR 36 crores to annual EBITDA and about INR 10 crores to pre-tax profit after finance and depreciation.
Seasonality: Generation remains heavily seasonal, with most output and profitability in the first half of the year due to wind patterns.
No Europe Expansion: OGPL’s European (Croatia) asset remains small and profitable, but there are no plans for further international expansion.
