Subdued Quarter: Q3 FY26 results were weak, mainly due to colder-than-expected weather in key beer markets causing a 24% beer volume drop.
Revenue & Profit: Total income for Q3 was INR 2,542 million, EBITDA was INR 231 million (9.1% margin), and net profit was INR 55 million (2.2% margin).
IMFL Growth: IMFL volumes rose sharply by 46% in Q3 and 55% in the 9-month period, partially offsetting beer weakness.
Cost Pressures: Gross margins were impacted by a decline in premium brand sales and higher raw material costs, especially barley and glass bottles.
UP Expansion: The INR 570 crore Uttar Pradesh brewery project’s Phase 1 is on track for June completion and expected to add up to INR 700 crores in annual revenue at full ramp.
Guidance Maintained: Management expressed confidence in reaching INR 1,500 crores revenue for FY26, implying a strong Q4 with about INR 450 crores sales.
Bhopal Plant Suspension: The MP plant is currently closed due to a license suspension, but management expects a court decision soon and aims to minimize Q4 impact.
