The company is headquartered in Plano, Texas and currently employs 12,000 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2007-04-24. The firm operates through two segments: U.S. markets and international markets. The company operates approximately 522 theatres and over 5,868 screens in the United States and Latin America. In the United States, the Company provides circuits in over 321 theatres and approximately 4,408 screens, and its international circuit has over 201 theatres and approximately 1,460 screens across 15 countries. The company plays mainstream films from many different genres, such as animated films, family films, dramas, comedies, horror and action films. The firm offers content in both two-dimensional (2-D) and two-dimensional (3-D) formats in all of its theatres. The firm has theatres in the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Bolivia, Curacao and Paraguay.
