Minerals Technologies, Inc. is a resource and technology-based company. The company is headquartered in New York City, New York and currently employs 3,961 full-time employees. The Company’s segments include Performance Materials, Specialty Minerals and Refractories. Performance Materials segment is a global supplier of a range of bentonite-based and synthetic materials for consumer-oriented and industrial markets and non-residential construction, environmental remediation, and infrastructure projects. Specialty Minerals segment produces and sells the synthetic mineral product precipitated calcium carbonate and processed mineral product quicklime (lime), and mines mineral ores then processes and sells natural mineral products. The Refractories segment produces monolithic and shaped refractory materials and specialty products. The company also provides services and sells application and measurement equipment and metallurgical wire products.
