The Retail segment includes activity associated with retailing of electricity and complementary products through its two brands: Meridian and Powershop in New Zealand. The International segment includes activity associated with its generation of electricity and sale into the wholesale electricity market and licensing of the Powershop platform in the United Kingdom. The firm supplies electricity to power homes, businesses and farms.
