Galiano Gold, Inc. engages in the acquisition and exploration of mineral resources. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia and currently employs 516 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2001-06-25. The Company’s principal business activity is the operation of the Asanko Gold Mine (AGM) through a joint venture arrangement (the JV). In addition to its interest in the AGM, the Company holds gold concessions in various stages of exploration.
