Q1 Decline: PALFINGER saw a decline in revenue and EBIT in Q1, but both came in slightly better than expected, with revenue down 4.5% and EBIT down 26.7%.
Order Intake: High order intake continued from Q4, especially in EMEA, providing a solid foundation for the rest of 2025.
Positive Outlook: Management expects a rebound in revenue and EBIT from Q2 onwards and targets 2025 to be the company's second-best year ever.
Regional Dynamics: EMEA is driving growth due to construction and infrastructure, while US growth is limited by tariff uncertainty. North America’s share is expected to rise long-term.
Service Expansion: Service business share has increased, and PALFINGER aims to double service revenue in coming years.
Net Debt Down: Net financial debt decreased substantially, and free cash flow was positive at EUR 20.7 million in Q1.
Guidance: Management targets revenue and EBIT growth for full-year 2025, with significant increases expected in the second half.
