Villeroy & Boch AG engages in the manufacture and sales of ceramic kitchen and bathroom products. The company is headquartered in Mettlach, Saarland and currently employs 6,907 full-time employees. The firm operates through two segments: Bathroom and Wellness, and Tableware. The Bathroom and Wellness segment manufactures ceramic sanitary ware, ceramic kitchen sinks, bathroom furniture, bathtubs and shower tabs, whirlpools, fitting and accessories. The product range also includes solutions for saunas and spa facilities, kitchen fittings and accessories purchased from third parties, among other things. The Tableware segment covers the complete assortment of tableware, crystal and cutlery, as well as accessories, kitchen and tableware textiles and a selection of gift articles. For sanitary projects the Company’s main customers are architects, interior designers and planners of public institutions, office buildings, hotels and residential complexes, among others. For tableware projects its main customers are hotel and restaurant operators.
