Cts Eventim AG & Co KgaA
CTS Eventim is a ticketing and live-entertainment company. It sells tickets for concerts, festivals, theater, sports, and other events through its online platforms, box offices, and distribution partners. It also helps promoters and venue owners run ticket sales and manage access, so it sits in the middle of the event industry rather than acting just as a simple reseller. The company makes money in two main ways: ticketing fees from selling tickets and service fees from the software and tools it provides to event organizers. It also earns money from promoting and producing live events, where it takes on more of the risk and reward of putting shows together. That gives it both a technology-style revenue stream and a more traditional entertainment business. What makes CTS Eventim stand out is that it connects the full chain from event organizer to fan. Its systems help clients price, distribute, and control ticket sales, while its own event business gives it direct experience with how live events are sold and packaged. For beginner investors, it is best understood as a ticketing infrastructure provider with a live-events arm attached, serving both organizers and audiences.
