China Shenhua Energy is one of China’s largest coal and energy companies. It digs up thermal coal, moves it by rail and port, and also burns coal to make electricity. In plain terms, it sits in the middle of the coal-to-power supply chain and turns underground fuel into energy that factories, utilities, and the power grid can use.
Its main customers are power generators, industrial users, and other energy buyers that need steady coal supply or electricity. The company makes money in several ways: by selling coal it mines, by selling electricity from its power plants, and by charging for transportation and related logistics services through its rail and port network. That mix gives it more than one revenue source tied to the same core fuel.
What makes Shenhua’s business different is its tight control over the whole chain. Many coal companies only mine coal, but Shenhua also ships it and uses it in its own power plants. That vertical integration helps it keep supply moving, manage logistics, and play a central role in China’s energy system.

Stock intrinsic value is the real worth of a company's stock, based on its financial health and performance.
Instead of looking at the stock's current market price, which can change due to people's opinions and emotions, intrinsic value helps us understand if a stock is truly a good deal or not.
By focusing on the company's actual financial strength, like its earnings and debts, we can make better decisions about which stocks to buy and when.
