PetroChina is one of China’s main oil and gas companies. It looks for and produces crude oil and natural gas, then turns those raw materials into fuels, lubricants, and basic petrochemicals. It also moves energy through pipelines and sells gasoline, diesel, natural gas, and related products to businesses and households.
Its customers include power plants, factories, airlines, trucking companies, city gas users, and drivers who buy fuel at service stations. PetroChina makes money by selling the energy and chemical products it produces, plus fees from transportation and other midstream services. Because it spans the whole chain from wells to pumps, it can earn from both commodity production and the large domestic market that uses those fuels every day.
What makes PetroChina different is its role as a large integrated energy supplier in China. It is not just an oil driller or just a fuel retailer; it links exploration, refining, pipelines, and distribution in one business. That gives it a central place in China’s energy supply system and makes its business model closely tied to the country’s demand for transport fuel, heating, industry, and natural gas.

Stock intrinsic value is the real worth of a company's stock, based on its financial health and performance.
Instead of looking at the stock's current market price, which can change due to people's opinions and emotions, intrinsic value helps us understand if a stock is truly a good deal or not.
By focusing on the company's actual financial strength, like its earnings and debts, we can make better decisions about which stocks to buy and when.
