TXT e solutions SpA
TXT e solutions is an Italian software and engineering group that builds specialized digital systems for customers with demanding technical needs. A big part of its work goes into aerospace and defense, where it helps design, test, and manage complex software used in aircraft, simulators, and other mission-critical systems. It also serves other industries with custom software, testing, and consulting services. The company sells a mix of project-based engineering work, software licenses, and support services. Its main customers are large industrial groups, aerospace and defense contractors, and enterprise clients that need tailored tools rather than off-the-shelf software. TXT makes money by delivering custom projects, recurring maintenance and support, and by selling its own software products and platforms. What makes TXT different is that it sits between classic IT services and specialized industrial software. It does not just write general business software; it focuses on technical environments where reliability, certification, and deep domain knowledge matter. That gives it a role as a specialist partner for clients who need software that fits tightly into complex machines, systems, and regulated workflows.

Strong quarter: TXT said Q1 2026 was very strong, with revenue up 18% to almost EUR 110 million and EBITDA up 18% to EUR 16 million.
Organic growth: Like-for-like growth was 17%, showing the business grew even before acquisitions.
Margins held: EBITDA margin stayed at almost 14.5% despite higher R&D and commercial spending.
M&A and cash: The company kept leaning on acquisitions and synergies, funding deals with cash generation and buybacks; adjusted net debt was around EUR 100 million.
Outlook improved: Management said Q1 was already above the group’s guidance and implied the full-year growth outlook should be better than the 10% target given at the start of the year.
Defense and fuel optimization: TXT highlighted a European Defense Fund project and stronger interest in its fuel optimization software as two strategic growth drivers.
