The company went IPO on 2012-05-16. The firm is focused on developing a fully integrated source of carbon-neutral battery anode material in Quebec, Canada for the lithium-ion and fuel cell markets. The company owns interest in the Matawinie graphite property located in Saint-Michel-des-Saints, approximately 150 kilometers north of Montreal, Quebec. Its Battery Material Plant is located in Becancour, Quebec. The firm is developing natural flake graphite as well as a line of specialty products ranging from expandable graphite (for industrial applications, such as an additive to roofing membranes and construction materials) to spherical graphite, which is an essential component in all lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles, energy storage solutions and consumer technology applications.
