Torq Resources, Inc. is a mineral exploration company, which engages in the discovery and development of base metal projects in North America. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The company went IPO on 2011-09-14. The firm is principally engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral property interests with a focus in the Americas, particularly Chile. The Company’s projects include Santa Cecilia, Margarita and Andrea. The Santa Cecilia project is located approximately 100 kilometers (kms) east of the city of Copiapo, Chile, in the southern region of the Maricunga belt and immediately north of the El Indio belt. The project is comprised of approximately 3,250 hectares. The Margarita Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOCG) project is located in Chile, approximately 65 kms north of the city of Copiapo. The project is comprised of approximately 1,045 hectares. The Andrea copper porphyry project is located in northern Chile, approximately 100 kms east of the city of La Serena. The project covers approximately 1,200 hectares at elevations ranging from 3900-4900 meters (m).
