K&O Energy Group is a Japanese energy and materials company built around natural gas from the Kanto region, especially Chiba Prefecture. It extracts natural gas from underground fields, processes and sells that gas, and also supplies city gas, LPG, and electricity to homes and businesses. A second important part of the business is iodine, which it recovers from the same underground brine and sells to industrial customers for use in chemicals, medical products, and other applications.
Its customers are mainly local households, factories, commercial users, and industrial buyers of gas and iodine.
