The company is headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey and currently employs 20 full-time employees. The firm is engaged in research and development that patents, designs, develops and commercializes diagnostic and therapeutic injection technologies and devices for medical and dental. The firm operates through two segments: dental and medical. The firm has developed a computer-controlled anesthetic delivery device, its DPS Dynamic Pressure Sensing Technology System, to meet the needs of various subcutaneous drug delivery injections and fluid aspiration. The device, using The Wand, a single use disposable handpiece, is marketed in dentistry under the trademark CompuDent, and STA Single Tooth Anesthesia System and is suitable for all dental procedures that require local anesthetic. The dental devices are sold in the United States, Canada and in approximately 38 other countries. Its medical devices have obtained CE mark approval and can be marketed and sold in European countries.
