Broadband Growth: Aussie Broadband added just under 49,000 broadband services this quarter, representing 11% growth, with strong contributions from both wholesale and white label segments.
Business & Enterprise: The business segment remained strong, with about 5,500 new business connections and Aussie capturing 15% of NBN enterprise ethernet order volume.
Fibre Project Progress: The major fibre build project is close to completion, expected largely finished by March and fully by June, on budget and on schedule.
EBITDA & Guidance: Half-year EBITDA was $9.1 million. Second half EBITDA is guided at $27–30 million, with connections expected to rise by 85,000–95,000.
Over the Wire Acquisition: Acquisition of Over the Wire is progressing, with a shareholder vote set for February and integration expected to enhance product offerings and EBITDA in FY '23.
Marketing Costs: Marketing expenses as a percentage of revenue rose to 12.6% in H1 but are expected to fall in the second half as promotions become more targeted.
Industry Conditions: Competition is quiet in broadband but active in mobile; churn remains low by industry standards but is an ongoing focus.
