Revenue growth: Second-quarter revenue rose 16% to DKK 125 million?
Profit pressure: Gross profit fell to DKK 125 million and the gross margin declined to 14.6%, mainly because the unusually cold winter hurt the detached business.
Strategy: HusCompagniet completed the sale of its Esbjerg factory, reorganized the semi-detached business and is shifting toward a more asset-light, lower-risk model.
Demand: Danish consumers remain cautious, with detached-home leads and sales fluctuating; low availability of building plots is also limiting activity.
Sweden: New mortgage regulations are expected to support the Swedish market, where the company saw higher leads and wooden-house sales increased 21%.
Guidance: Management maintained its 2026 outlook for revenue of DKK 3 billion to DKK 3.3 billion, EBITDA of DKK 70 million to DKK 130 million and EBIT of DKK 15 million to DKK 75 million.
Balance sheet: Net debt was DKK 283 million and leverage was 5.4x at the end of June; management expects to remain compliant with its 3.5x covenant threshold by year-end.
