Disappointing Q1: Tokmanni Group reported a weak first quarter, with Dollarstore's low gross margin causing the biggest negative impact on group profits.
Revenue Growth: Group revenue increased slightly to EUR 341.8 million, driven by Dollarstore, but like-for-like sales declined by 1.9%.
Dollarstore Challenges: Dollarstore's aggressive clearance sales hurt gross margins, leading to a much larger operating loss compared to last year.
Cost Pressures: Operating expenses were higher, especially at Dollarstore due to organizational changes and increased warehouse activity.
Synergy Progress: The annual synergy run rate reached EUR 16.2 million, with a new target of over EUR 20 million by end of 2025.
Outlook Unchanged: Management kept its 2025 guidance unchanged, targeting revenue of EUR 1.72–1.82 billion and EBIT of EUR 100–130 million.
