Hummingbird Resources Plc engages in the exploration, development, and exploitation of mineral resources. The firm principally focused on gold projects in West Africa. The firm has two core gold projects, the Yanfolila Gold Mine in Mali, and the Kouroussa Gold Project in Guinea. In addition, the Company owns the Dugbe Gold Project in Liberia. The Yanfolila Gold Mine is an open pit mining operation situated in the southern region of Mali, West Africa. The Kouroussa Gold Project is situated in the prolific Siguiri Basin, Guinea, which has a high- mineral resource of approximately 1.18 million ounces (Moz) of gold at >3 grammes per ton (g/t) coupled with material exploration. The Dugbe Gold Project (Dugbe) is situated within the Dugbe Shear Zone. The Dugbe Shear Zone is located in south-eastern Liberia, located approximately 40 miles by road from the deep-water port of Greenville, the capital city of County Sinoe.
