The Plinabulin product is a marine-derived small-molecule selective immunomodulating microtubule-binding agent (SIMBA) with a range of immune activities. Its Plinabulin has the immune defense protein, GEF-H1, which leads to two effects: a durable anti-cancer benefits due to the maturation of dendritic cells resulting in activation of tumor antigen-specific T-cells to target cancer cells and early-onset action in chemotherapy-induced neutropenia (CIN) prevention after chemotherapy by boosting the number of hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs).
