The firm's lidar sensor uses its laser beam scanning (LBS) technology. The firm's technology is based on systems that include micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS), laser diodes, opto-mechanics, electronics, algorithms and software. The company has also developed solutions for augmented reality, interactive displays and consumer lidars. The firm's MEMS scanning mirror is a silicon device that oscillates in a controlled closed loop pattern so that it can place a pixel of light at a point. For applications that include a projected display, its PicoP scanning technology creates a full color, high-contrast, uniform image over the entire field-of view from a small and thin module with low power consumption. The firm is developing 1st generation lidar sensor, which is Long Range Lidar (LRL), for OEM and Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
