The firm is engaged in providing loans for non-housing finance activities in the form of loan against properties (LAP) and refinance loans. The firm focuses on the housing needs of self-employed, informal segment of customers, belonging to middle income, primarily from semi urban and rural markets. Its products include home loans, LAP, and insurance services. The company provides housing loans for construction of house/flat on the land owned; purchase of a flat or a house from a builder; renovation or extension of a house, and renovation or extension of a house. LAP loans are given for refinancing of funds used for the purpose of construction/purchase of house. LAP has two products, namely LAP-Construction and LAP-Purchase. The company provides credit shield insurance and property insurance. Its wholly owned subsidiary is Aptus Finance India Private Limited, which is a non- banking finance company.
