Waters Corp. engages in the provision of workflow solutions involving liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis. The company is headquartered in Milford, Massachusetts and currently employs 7,800 full-time employees. The Company’s segments include Waters and TA. The Waters operating segment is designing, manufacturing, selling and servicing liquid chromatography (LC) and MS instruments, columns and other precision chemistry consumables that can be integrated and used along with other analytical instruments. The TA operating segment designs, manufactures, sells and services thermal analysis, rheometry and calorimetry instruments. The firm's LC and LC-MS instruments are utilized in a range of industries to detect, identify, monitor and measure the chemical, physical and biological composition of materials, and to purify compounds.
