Blue Biofuels Cellulose to sugar (CTS) 2.0 is a mechanical-chemical process that converts enzymes in the conversion of cellulose into its components of sugar and lignin. The sugar is further converted into bioethanol and other biofuels. The CTS process is used in plastics, lactic acids, pharmaceuticals, industrial solvents and agricultural products to carbon fiber nanotubes, adhesives, construction additives and cosmetics.
