In Namibia, Kudu gas discovery asset is in the northern Orange sub-basin approximately 130 kms off the south-west coast of Namibia. The company is situated in Petroleum Production license 003 (PPL003) which has an area of 4,567 square kms and the field water depth is approximately 170 meters.

Record Production: BW Energy achieved a new record in annual production for 2025, with around 30,000 barrels per day, leading to reduced operating costs per unit.
Strong Financials: Full-year 2025 EBITDA was $414 million and net profit was $133 million, with a year-end cash balance of $150 million.
Project Progress: Major developments including Maromba, Dussafu MaBoMo Phase 2, and Golfinho Boost are on track, with Maromba expected to deliver significant production growth from 2027.
2026 Guidance: Production for 2026 is guided between 9 and 11 million barrels, with operating costs expected at $20 to $24 per barrel and capital expenditure of $500 to $600 million.
Financing & Liquidity: Secured approximately $1 billion in low-cost financing, optimized liquidity with a $275 million wellhead platform lease, and ended Q4 with $151 million in cash and $366 million in liquidity including undrawn facilities.
Operational Challenges: Q4 production was impacted by maintenance issues at both Dussafu and Golfinho, but workovers and optimizations are expected to improve output in 2026.
Strategic Moves: Announced new interests in Angola, continued appraisal in Namibia and Gabon, and opened a data room for potential Kudu partners.
