Haffner Energy SAS is the designer and builder of HYNOCA, a disruptive carbon-negative solution for producing competitive renewable hydrogen. The company is headquartered in Vitry-Le-Francois, Grand Est and currently employs 48 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2022-02-15. The firm is specialized in the development, project management and construction of turnkey renewable energy production stations for industrial and local authorities. The firm offers the HYNOCA process for the production of green hydrogen from biomass by thermolysis and is protected by patent families, and other international patents. The firm has been specializing in energy engineering and biomass to energy projects and the first industrial and commercial HYNOCA installation started operation in 2001. This unit is operated by R-HYNOCA, a subsidiary of R-GDS, and is located in the heart of Strasbourg city.
