CNMC Goldmine Holdings Ltd. engages in the business of exploration, mining of gold, and the processing of mined ore into gold dores. The principal activities of the Company are those of an investment holding and management company. The firm operates through two segments: gold mining and other operations. Gold mining segment is engaged in exploration, development, mining and marketing of gold. Other operations segment include investment holding company and provision of corporate services. The Company’s flagship project includes the Sokor Gold Field project, which covers an area of approximately 2,370 acers. The Sokor Gold Field project is located in the District of Tanah Merah, Kelantan, Malaysia and it is accessible by travelling southwest from the town of Tanah Merah. The area is underlain by mildly metamorphosed volcanoes of Permian and Triassic age.
