Description

Africa Oil Corp. is an oil and gas company, which engages in the exploration of oil and gas properties. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia and currently employs 22 full-time employees. The firm offers producing and development assets in deep-water offshore Nigeria, and development assets in Kenya. The firm also has a portfolio of exploration assets in Guyana, Kenya, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa and in the Senegal Guinea Bissau Joint Development Zone (AGC). The firm holds its interests through direct ownership interests and through its shareholding companies, including Prime Oil & Gas Cooperatief U.A., Africa Energy Corp., Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas Ltd. and Oil and Gas Ltd. The firm has explored on various onshore exploration blocks in East Africa and has made oil discoveries in the South Lokichar Basin located in the Tertiary Rift trend in Kenya.
